Vevo and Youtube

More and more individuals are now using the web for entertainment. With the success of products such as the Apple iPhone, there has been an increase of consumers who have been using their mobile phones to access the internet.

Vevo for example, is an application where consumers can access the latest music and entertainment through a video streaming program, known as Youtube. This week has been quite a successful week for YouTube. They have officially hit the mark with 1 million downloads on the mobile application called Vevo. Although it has only be launched one week ago, Youtube are very pleased with the results so far.

It is expected to be the most popular application for 2010, already hitting fifth place on the free applications list at the Apple iTunes online store.
