Netflix, which is a service provide for online streaming of movies, TV shows and other assorted videos have been using 20 percent of the US bandwidth in total. Although Netflix will not be changing any of their services any time soon, many are now wondering whether the company can afford to hold the capacity and demand within the US.
The 20 percent which has been used by Netflix streaming only during prime time, which is from 8pm to 10pm, accounts for a major increase in the demand. There is now an estimated 4GB being consumed by each household within the US. This may not be an issue for Netflix at the moment, however larger concerns about how long this can go for until the system pulls out is another question many subscribers are left wondering.
